Focus and Scope

The Journal of Islamic Economic Development is an academic publication aimed at providing a platform for scholars, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to present and discuss concepts, theories, and practical applications in the field of Islamic Economics. JIED is dedicated to promoting a better understanding of the principles of Islamic economics and to encouraging high-quality and innovative research in related topics.

The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to:

  1. Islamic Economic Theory: In-depth understanding of the principles of Islamic economics, including concepts such as justice, sustainability, and wealth distribution within the Islamic framework.

  2. Islamic Finance: Development and application of Islamic financial products, as well as analysis of how Islamic principles are applied in modern financial systems.

JIED welcomes contributions in the form of research articles, literature reviews, policy reviews, and other relevant scholarly contributions that fall within the focus and scope of the journal.
